You are the only problem you will ever have and you are the only solution.

The title of this post is a quote by Bob Proctor. It is a reminder for me that I have complete control over what I do, think and feel. It also is a reminder that we make our own success and our own failure. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but we can always be in charge of our feelings, thoughts and attitudes about what happens.

Because we are sentient we have the unique ability among all the creatures on this planet to guide our own destiny. Will drives that destiny if we get out of our own way. Mr. Proctor is very correct, we are the solution as well as the problem all at the same time.

Most people will approach the issue of change from a backward route. They make plans, they depend solely on their willpower to make a change then they will only be able to keep up what they are doing for a short amount of time before they quit. They are looking for results too quickly.

The process should be a bit closer to this…. Envision what you want, you know really think and feel it in your own mind and body and keep doing that everyday until you reach your goal. Look for evidence of it happening and have a positive expectation of it coming to pass. At the same time move forward with any physical actions that you can take however small to make your desire come true. Don’t take score too soon as this will slow the process. Feel good about what you are doing and relax, have fun with it. Be the solution to your problem because only you can change your life and what you attract into it.

Open you mind to another path, explore but most importantly be at peace with yourself and others. Conflict is far to common among humans. Being self aware is both a blessing and a curse, it depends on how you use it. Use your feelings to direct your intelligence, try new things!

Don’t ever let others tell you, ‘THAT WILL NEVER WORK’! Don’t do that, be like us! Give in and don’t try to be anything than what you are.

I say….You are the only problem you will ever have and you are the only solution.

  1. I’ve done what you’ve suggested many times. You are right in that one has to start with small bites. Expecting too much too soon can lead to early and sometimes tragic disappointments. Keep your wits about you and always, always, always keep your eye on the prize.
