A nice day for a walk

Today my lovely wife and our dog took a walk in the sun. What is so special about that you might ask? Well you see in the upper left hand corner of the United States of America in February the sun does not shine much. We live in a rain forest after all. February is normally a dreary and wet month.

Rain, rain and clouds and grey rule the landscape most of the year. It is nothing short of glorious to have a stretch of days with temps in the upper 50’s and lots of sun. Taking advantage of it is of the utmost importance. Of course the birds and insects love it as well, taking a break from dealing with the wet weather.

After our walk in the sun we took time to sit in it and have a coffee. I miss the sun after living here for more than 20 years. I think we will have to move someday where there is more than 60 days of sunshine per year on average. It is no wonder that coffee is so popular here. Caffeine rocks!

Tomorrow back to work but today, aaahhh, today with its sunshine and good company and coffeeeeee!!

Things are looking up.
